Hello! My name is Matthew, and I’m 27 years old. I’m a multipotentialite, which means I have a variety of passions rather than specializing in just one area. In my life, I’m deeply interested in topics like the Bible, Science, Self Improvement, Mysteries of the Universe, Niche Site Affiliate Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and much more.
This website, **nichesitesmadesimple.com**, is one of my recent passion projects, born out of my journey toward financial freedom.
Discovering My Passion: The Start of My Affiliate Marketing Journey
My self-improvement journey started back in high school when I first became interested in learning Japanese. I was also pursuing spiritual growth and still am today. Over time, that passion for self-improvement has extended into many areas, including affiliate marketing, which is now a core focus for me. But it wasn’t till around 2021 that I really began to have a desire for self improvement.
How I became interested in Affiliate Marketing in 2021
So in 2021, I was in a state of emotional turmoil over a past break up and it took me time to move on. So I began to focus more on self improvement. At one point I came across someone talking about Lead Generation, but in the process came to learn about Affiliate Marketing and that’s the path I chose to go on.
In 2021 I joined Wealthy Affiliate, a training platform meant to teach others about how to become an affiliate marketer. Initially I just signed up and forgot about it for awhile. It barely crossed my mind because the more flashy courses cought my eye. Eventually in time I came back to Wealthy Affiliate and found it to be the best training platform for beginners and unlike the other program, this one isn’t trying to upsell me with a vert expensive course in order to learn more.
Reflections on my progress and mistakes during 2023 and 2024
In 2023 is when I began to put in more effort than I had before, but I lacked consistency.
